There are nearly 200 players still unsigned in major league baseball. Some of last season's strongest players signed after New Year's Day, while other marquee names continue to look for a new home. These are just five of the players that need to be signed quickly.

1

Bryce Harper

Bryce Harper has become the most sought after free agent on the market this offseason. Many teams have been interested in signing this explosive hitter, leading to many teams trying to find ways to create payroll space. The Phillies appear set on signing him, however other teams are still considering their options. One team that could use a strong defensive and offensive player is the Los Angeles Angels.

2

Manny Machado

Manny Machado is another strong hitter and defensive player being sought by several teams around the league. But it appears that he has narrowed down his teams to the Phillies, Yankees and White Sox. Machado is predicted to hit 33 home runs depending on his landing spot. League insiders expect him to make his decision very soon.

3

Craig Kimbrel

Craig Kimbrel has become a strong pitcher as he ranks near the top in whiff-per-swing rate. However, his struggles in the postseason and his high asking price could leave him in free agency for awhile.

4

A.J. Pollock

A.J. Pollock is asking for a six-year deal, which may be hard to get because of his history of injuries. However, he is explosive on the field at centerfield as well as when he is at bat.

5

Zach Britton

Zach Britton is a pitcher who delivers one pitch well, and that is the sinker. Britton's velocity began to come back during the second half of last season.
