2018 has been a year full of video game releases, some have been big hits and others have been misses. Video game players took to social media to help support the growth of certain games like "Fortnite," and others have criticized other Video Games like "Sea of Thieves." These are five very popular video games that came out this year. I'm very excited to see what comes out in 2019.
'God of War'
This year's "God of War" is a completely breathtaking redesign of the franchise. While forgoing an actual reboot "God of War" is a sequel. "God of War" is a game that stands proudly on its own, without the baggage of the past entries.
'Spider-Man'
Marvel's "Spider-Man" game has completely revolutionized the standard Spider-Man gameplay from previous editions. The PS4 exclusive draws from the superhero's history in the comics, movies and television. While the plot is predictable it gives players the opportunity to swing around a world so familiar and welcoming.
