WWE Survivor Series 2018 results: Highlights include Team Raw dominance

The annual pay-per-view featured plenty of action but a rough outing for the Blue Brand.

Sunday night brought the latest edition of WWE's Survivor Series with Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown the theme. Unfortunately for Paige and Shane McMahon's side of things, it was a rough night. Raw's competitors completely dominated the blue brand with a clean sweep of the matches. Here's a look at the highlights and results from WWE Survivor Series 2018.

Team Raw Women defeated Team SmackDown Women

Alexa Bliss' choice of superstars was pretty much a success, although there were several changes here. Natalya and Ruby Riott were taken out of the lineup and replaced with Bayley and Sasha Banks. On the opposing side, Mandy Rose took the fifth and final spot for SmackDown. In the end, it came down to Nia Jax getting plenty of heat as she defeated Asuka for the Raw win.

Team Raw Men defeated Team SmackDown Men

Domination was the theme of the night for Team Raw and this match exhibited that. It came down to a 3-on-1 situation with Shane McMahon stuck facing Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley. As expected, Braun picked up the win after powerslamming Shane to the mat. A post-match attack from Baron Corbin knocked Strowman down as "The Lone Wolf" escorted the other winners up the ramp.

Seth Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall

A candidate for match of the night ahead of the PPV even airing, this one had some great interactions and spots. Surprisingly, Dean Ambrose was nowhere to be seen during the contest. In the end, both competitors went for finishers but missed. Rollins managed to regain composure and connect on The Stomp to get the win.

AOP defeated The Bar via pinfall

This match featured the reigning Raw tag champions taking on the reigning SmackDown tag champs. It featured some great action between two dominant tag teams, and an attempt at comedy with Drake Maverick wetting his pants thanks to Big Show. That brief distraction helped AOP capture a win with a double-team move on Sheamus.

Ronda Rousey defeated Charlotte Flair due to DQ

There were no titles on the line here, just a highly-competitive matchup amongst two of the more athletic superstars around. They certainly delivered after having short time to work too. Charlotte went toe-to-toe with the "Baddest Woman on the Planet," but ultimately started to find herself close to losing. With desperation setting in, Flair grabbed a kendo stick from under the ring to attack Rousey. That caused a DQ, but Flair continued the attack anyways. Could another match be in the future?

Brock Lesnar defeated Daniel Bryan via pinfall

It looked like a squash match from the start, but the WWE Champion put up a valiant effort. After getting tossed around like a ragdoll, Bryan finally came to life. He worked on Brock's leg with a strategy to keep him grounded. However, "The Beast" responded and powered back, hitting the F5 to collect a pinfall win.
