Oregon beat Syracuse 80-65 on Friday night (November 16). Below I explain how they were able to do it.

1

Bol Bol went off

Oregon Center Bol Bol showed why some think he is going to be a top five pick in the NBA draft. He dominated the Orange by scoring 26 points and hauling down nine rebounds. He also had four blocks and, most interestingly, three steals.

2

Syracuse's poor long distance shooting

The Orange had problems shooting, in general, but they were especially bad from long distance. They were just 5-of-28 from beyond the three-point arc. That's not gonna win many games.

3

Payton Pritchard

The Ducks' point guard showed off his versatility. Not only did he have 18 points, but he logged five rebounds, four assists, and four steals.
