Employees sit on average eight and a half hours a day. That is certainly a long time. Either we sit in front of the TV, in the car or the office at work. Or while writing or while eating. Basically, there is probably nothing wrong with sitting. The problem is more that many people are not sitting properly. At the same time, there is no physical balance, because many people do not do sports.
Incorrectly adjusted Office Furniture, such as tables and chairs, can provoke back pain. Iris Casper (pain therapy Norderstedt) and naturopath for alternative pain therapies, specializes in musculoskeletal pain.
"Many people come to me with back pain, but they can also be treated without medication." The alternative practitioner uses well-tried and natural methods of pain treatment.
Back pain Dynamic sitting
As prevention of back pain, the so-called dynamic sitting is often recommended. Because the cause of pain in the back, as well as in the musculoskeletal system is often the hours of persistence in the same position. As a result, the joints can be unnaturally stressed and excessively strained. The result is often back pain.

Likewise, one should make sure that the office furniture, such as office chair and table are set correctly. For example, the table should be level with your arms.
With a height of 1.80 m, the table should be set at the height of 73 cm.
The armrest height should then be 27 cm in the distance of the armrests from the seat. Seat height should be 48 cm concerning the distance from the floor to the seat.
It is also important that the arms can easily reach all objects on the desk. It is also advisable to regularly check the correct setting of the office furniture.
Ask yourself the following questions: Is it comfortable, just like I'm sitting right now? Do I sit with my back straight? Is it pleasant when writing? Can I easily and comfortably access the computer keyboard, mouse and phone?
Regular self-assessment and reflection can help to find the correct sitting position and posture. It is also important not to sit for hours in the same posture.
Here it is advisable to change the seating position regularly. Even a little exercise does not hurt in between, for example, go to the coffee cafe. Move between work phases, if possible, a bit. During the break, a small jogging session can also be a welcome compensation, which makes for a bit of exercise.
