WEtv Mama June Shannon is flaunting big weight-loss after gastric bypass and plastic surgery, but she's taken a lot of flak for not helping her obese daughter "Honey Boo Boo" Alana Thompson lose weight. Well, it seems that as per Alana, the reality television mom is trying to feed her better. But while most parents praise her efforts, two are sabotaging it: HBB's own dad "Sugar Bear" Mike Thompson and her new stepmom. On June's new show "From Not to Hot," morbidly obese Jennifer Lamb body-shamed Shannon, accused her of abusing and depriving Honey Boo Boo, and then stuffed the 11-year-old full of junk food.

It is clear on "From Not to Hot" that June Shannon doesn't like Sugar Bear's new wife Jennifer. But who drew first blood? Was it Lamb and her fat-shaming "whale" comment? Shannon had been persuaded by Honey Boo Boo and her sister Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon to try on a wedding dress while Alana was choosing a dress for Sugar Bear's wedding. After bariatric surgery and plastic surgery (tummy tuck and breast implant procedure), June tried on a size 12 dress just to see if it fit. Lamb saw her and began mocking, which undermined Shannon's confidence. But in a later clip Lamb thin-shamed Mama June, calling her stick-thin and unhealthy looking.

Folks found it ironic that Jennifer Lamb who may be more obese than Mama June ever was, would stoop to body-shaming her rival. But it gets worse. Lamb and Sugar Bear took Alana out to eat and the child was shoveling in the food. Lamb questioned whether Alana got enough to eat and what mom fed her.
The tween said "vegetables," at which point the parents scoffed. The stepmother said Shannon was abusing her daughter and depriving her of food. The woman asked Honey Boo Boo what she wanted for dessert, and, true to course, the kid rattled off a list of desserts that would kill an ox.
Jealous Jennifer Lamb uses HBB as a pawn?
The WEtv "From Not to Hot" episode shows Lamb ordering a bunch of desserts and smiling indulgently as Alana Thompson wolfs them down. The reality television stepmom said that at her house, the girl could have all the junk food she wanted. When Honey Boo Boo arrived home with more desserts, June chewed Lamb out for encouraging bad habits. Clearly step-parents often have different rules but this seemed like a direct assault on Mama June with Alana as the weapon. But the girl is also the victim. Being plied with sweets by a grossly overweight woman with an agenda sounds very like "Hansel and Gretel," and everyone knows how badly that ended. Lamb won't stop Shannon from losing weight, but she will sabotage Alana's health and make weight-loss that much harder.
