The latest updates for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will feature the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Darkstalkers characters for the roster and more DLC plans for the sequel.

More characters coming to the roster

"Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" will feature some of the most popular characters in both Marvel comics and Capcom video games from the likes of Iron Man, Captain America and Spider-Man to Chun-Li, Mega Man X, and Chris Redfield. Still, the initial main line-up for the sequel is not yet complete as the game developers are still planning and researching on which character will join in its growing roster.

Firebrand and Dormammu are teased to be the next characters added into the game, not to mention the possibility of seeing Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales and Jane Foster's version of Thor as character pallet skins.

Luckily, Reddit username Rikurikumore leaked the possible game plans for "Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite" which revealed the remaining characters in the roster. The names listed in the leaked roster include Asura, Leon S. Kennedy, Captain Commando, Doctor Octopus, Venom, Songbird, Star-Lord, and Black Widow.

Venom and Captain Commando made their debut in the first "MvC" game, while the rest of the characters will be appearing for the first time in the crossover fighting series.

Planned DLC packs

Rikurikumore's list also revealed the two DLC packs for the sequel bringing new playable characters in the roster.

The first DLC pack is called "Fantastic Four vs. Darkstalkers, " and it will feature eight playable characters. Five names revealed to be Super Skrull, Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, Jon Talbain and Felicia, while the remaining three are yet to be revealed.

The second DLC is called "X-Men vs. Street Fighter, " and just like the first, it is assumed that eight playable fighters are present in the pack. It will include Wolverine, Cyclops, and Deadpool, while the rest are yet to be revealed.

So far, Marvel Games and Capcom have not yet made a response regarding the leaked character and DLC details, but this gave gaming fans a bit of hope that X-Men characters are still present in the third installment of the franchise.

Fans were bothered by the fact that the Japanese publisher did not add the mutant team in the roster and the majority of the Marvel side is composed of characters from MCU.

For now, gaming fans will just have to wait for Firebrand and Dormammu to show up in the next gameplay trailer soon. The game will launch on Sept. 19 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
