Microsoft Surface Phone and Nokia 9 are one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2017. Nokia has returned to the smartphone market in 2017 while Microsoft doesn't have any device in the phone market.

Nokia 9 details

The Finnish tech giant has released several phones this year including Nokia 4, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8. Notably, the company is now targeting flagship phone market. As of now, Nokia has no share in the top-notch smartphone market segment. If rumors are to be believed, the firm might launch their flagship device, Nokia 9 in 2018.

Basically, it will be the sibling of Nokia 8, which is already present in the market. If rumors are to be believed, the said smartphone could be unveiled during MWC 2018. According to Deccan Chronical, the launch of the handset is looking prominent as Amazon UK has recently listed the protective cases for the handset.

The upcoming smartphone will go head-to-head with Samsung Galaxy S8, Apple iPhone X, OnePlus 5 and LG G7. Nokia 9 will run on the Android 7.1 Nougat. The handset recently got leaked online. The renders suggest that it will feature an edge-to-edge display. The phone might also sport dual-lens camera. On the processor front, Nokia 9 is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The said device will have 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage with 4000 mAh battery. The official price and the release date is yet to confirm. The handset might cost around $800-$1000.

Surface Phone specs, features, and rumors

Surface Phone is expected to come up in mid-2018. The phone is rumored to mark foldable design. On the other hand, there are also possibilities that it will have a bezel-less design, similar to Galaxy S8.

Regarding specs and feature, Microsoft Surface Phone might sport a 3D camera, IP68 certified water and dust resistant body. The flagship might feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, and it is expected to run on Andromeda (OS).

The device could mark 6GB RAM with 256GB internal memory.

Surface Phone might also sport Surface Pen (Stylus), which will be more like Galaxy Note 8's S-Pen. Microsoft's device will compete with the likes Samsung Galaxy S8, Note 8 and iPhone 8. Fans have to wait a bit more for it. The official launch date and price of the handset is not confirmed yet. For more news and updates on technology, stay tuned.
