After LG Electronics unveiled its V30 Android smartphone at the IFA event last month, the tech company’s newest and hottest mobile device is now available in South Korea. LG said in a press release that the handset will be available in North America, Europe and other key markets around the world in the coming weeks.
The timeframe that the tech company provided for other regions seems vague, but ETNews (via Phone Arena) claimed that the LG V30 smartphone may arrive in the United States next month. The tech firm has yet to announce the official price of its latest handset in the U.S., but the company is selling the 64GB model of LG V30 smartphone in Korea for 949,300 KRW, which is around $840, while the 128GB Plus variant has a 998,800 KRW price tag, approximately $890.
LG’s latest handset seems to be a good choice for smartphone enthusiasts who want a bezel-less mobile device at a cheaper price. The LG V30 is cheaper than the $930 unlocked version of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8. The LG V30 smartphone is also cheaper compared to Apple’s $1,000 iPhone X.
The LG V30 will be available in different color options - lavender violet, cloud silver, Moroccan blue, and Aurora black. LG has yet to confirm if all of the smartphone’s color options will be available in the United States, but the Lavender violet color of the handset will be available in the U.S. sometime next month.
Camera features of the device
On the camera front, one of the biggest highlights of LG’s new V30 smartphone is its rear dual camera system, consisting of 13MP and 16MP sensors.
The 16MP sensor boasts an aperture of f/1.6, Slash Gear reported. The front camera of the device features a 5MP with an f/2.2 aperture.
LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company President, Juno Cho, stated that the company designed its latest handset to help smartphone enthusiasts to capture the experiences that make up their life stories.
Cho claimed that LG V30 might be the most beautiful mobile device the company ever developed.
Smartphone’s specs
