manchester city’s all-time highest goal scorer, Sergio Aguero, met with an accident in Netherlands on last Thursday. He was returning home from a concert, but the taxi driver lost car’s balance and bumped with a roadside column.

The Argentinian striker broke his ribs in the car accident. Doctor’s initially reported that he could be out for at least three or four weeks, but now his comeback date has been extended. He’s now out for next six to seven weeks as he needs to recover fully from the severe injuries.

29-years old striker has already scored seven times for Man City this season.

He struggled last season to make room for himself in Pep Guardiola’s playing-11. This season he’s been in a sensational form and scored six goals in six Premier League games.

Aguero and his new partner, Gabriel Jesus, has been performing up to the mark from the beginning. Both the strikers helped Man City to climb on the top of the points table. Man City is currently at the top of the points table with 19 points, alongside Manchester United who has the same points as City. Manchester City is ahead of United since they have more goal difference than United.

Manchester Clubs are performing astonishingly well this season, and it pretty much looks like that this year's Premier League title will land in Manchester. Trailing team, Tottenham Hotspur, is five points behind the Manchester clubs.

Man City fans were in fear before the seventh round of Premier League match as City had Chelsea to play against and without the leading striker Aguero.

However, Man City played the whole game with dominant force. They didn’t miss Aguero at all and won the game with 0-1 against defending champions.

Which games will the team be without Aguero?

If Aguero remains sidelined for six weeks, then he’d miss crucial matches against Napoli in Champions League and Premier League games against Arsenal and Leicester.

Man City can stumble in these critical games without their central striker. Guardiola has Gabriel Jesus as a striker, but he’s more lethal with Aguero.

Man City have to win Premier League games against Arsenal and Leicester without the Argentinian to keep the pressure on their local rivals Man United. Man United is in good form and City’s boss has admitted that Jose with United is a deadly combination.

When Aguero’s coming back?

It’s unlikely that doctors will against extend the given date. Man City has a rivalry match on the 9th of December against Man United. 29-years old striker can make a comeback on this day.

If Manchester clubs remain on the top until that date, then it’d be the biggest rivalry match in this Premier League campaign.

Manchester United’s injured players with the likes of Ibrahimovic, Rojo, and Pogba can also rejoin the squad by this fixture. This match could decide which team can lift 2017/18 Premier League trophy.
