After another week of National Football League action, NFL analyst Elliot Harrison released the week eight power rankings. This list is from the 26th down to the 32nd spot of the week 8 power rankings. The San Francisco 49ers suffered their worst home loss since week five of the 2009 NFL regular season despite the 49ers honoring one of their legends Dwight Clark. The 49ers and Cleveland Browns continue to look for their first win this season.
26. Arizona Cardinals (3-4)
Quarterback Carson Palmer completed ten out of 18 pass attempts for 122 yards while throwing one interception before he left the game due to an arm injury.
Backup quarterback Drew Stanton came in and completed five out of 14 passes for 66 yards while throwing one interception. Running back Adrian Peterson only rushed for 21 yards on 11 attempts.
The Arizona Cardinals were shutout by the Los Angeles Rams 33-0.
27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-4)
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Buffalo Bills in a close 30-27 game. Quarterback Jameis Winston completed 32 out of 44 pass attempts for 384 yards while throwing three touchdowns and one interception. Linebacker Lavonte David led the Buccaneers' defense. David had a total of 14 tackles.
Tight end O.J. Howard caught six passes for 98 yards and scored two touchdowns. Jameis Winston and Lavonte David were among the passing leaders and defensive leaders respectively during week seven of the 2017 NFL regular season.
28. Baltimore Ravens (3-4)
The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Minnesota Vikings 24-16. Quarterback Joe Flacco completed 27 out of 39 pass attempts for 186 yards while throwing one touchdown. Kicker Justin Tucker scored ten points after making all three of his field goal attempts and converting one extra point attempt.
29. New York Giants (1-6)
The New York Giants lost to the Seattle Seahawks 24-7. Quarterback Eli Manning threw one touchdown while completing 19 out of 39 pass attempts for 134 yards. Tight end Evan Engram caught one touchdown pass after catching six passes for 60 yards.
30. Indianapolis Colts (2-5)
The Indianapolis Colts got shutout by the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-0.
Quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 22 out of 37 pass attempts for 200 yards. Running back Frank Gore rushed for 34 yards in nine attempts while Tight end Jack Doyle received six passes for 44 yards.
31. San Francisco 49ers (0-7)
The San Francisco 49ers lost to the Dallas Cowboys 40-10. Quarterback C.J. Beathard completed 22 out of 36 passes for 235 yards, Beathard also rushed for one touchdown. Running back Carlos Hyde rushed for 68 yards in 14 carries while wide receiver Marquise Goodwin had 80 yards after receiving four passes.
32. Cleveland Browns (0-7)
The Cleveland Browns lost to the Tennessee Titans 12-9 in overtime. Quarterback Cody Kessler completed 10 out of 19 pass attempts for 121 yards while DeShone Kizer completed 12 out of 20 pass attempts for 114 yards. Kicker Zane Gonzalez scored all of Browns' nine points after making all three of his field goal attempts.
