NBA.com has reported that the Golden State Warriors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves with the score 142-110. Stephen Curry put on a show last night scoring 40 points. Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant also contributed with 28 and 22 points, respectively. Andrew Wiggins scored 21 points in last night's game but the defending champions were just too much for the Timberwolves.

Wiggins shos improvement in his shooting

Andrew Wiggins has shown how athletic he is in his first couple of years in the NBA, but he still has to improve his shooting for him to take the next step as an NBA player.

That is what Wiggins showcased last night against the Golden State Warriors. Wiggins shot 69.2 percent from the field making nine of his 13 shots and making two of his four three-pointers. He contributed 21 points and one assist. With the arrival of Jimmy Butler, Wiggins will have more open shots in the perimeter if Jimmy Butler attacks the basket.

Jimmy Butler does a bit of everything

Jimmy Butler played a solid all-around game last night against the Warriors. He contributed 15 points, five rebounds, six assists, and two steals. He shot 50 percent from the field making three of his six field goal attempts and making nine of his 10 free throw shots. Despite the solid game for Butler and Wiggins, it still was not enough to defeat the Golden State Warriors.

Curry hits six threes

Stephen Curry put on one of the best preseason performance of all time in the NBA. He contributed 40 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and three steals. The two-time Most Valuable Player shot 65 percent from the field making 13 of his 20 shots and sinking six of his nine three-point attempts. Stephen Curry continues to show how good of a shooter he is and is slowly erasing all doubts about him being the best shooter the NBA has ever seen.

Kevin Durant scores 22

Kevin Durant also had an incredible game last night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He contributed 22 points, two rebounds, two assists, and one steal. He shot 52.9 percent from the field making nine of his 17 shots and hitting two three-pointers. Kevin Durant won his first NBA championship last season, but for this upcoming season, he is determined in winning back to back championships.

Klay hits eight threes

Curry scores 40, Durant scores 22, and Klay Thompson hits eight three-pointers. The Golden State Warriors simply obliterated the Minnesota TImberwolves last night. Klay Thompson scored 28 points to go along with two rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Despite the western conference looking very tough, the Warriors still remain to be the heavy favorites to win it all this upcoming season.
