Here's a full report of these updates:

Swansea to reach a decision over Sigurdsson move this week

Swan boss Paul Clement is hopeful that a decision about their star player Gylfi Sigurdsson's future will be made known this week.

The Swan boss suggested a decision is near, saying: “Sigurdsson will not play against Sampdoria come Saturday. Talks are still ongoing and hopefully, we're going to get some news in the next coming days.” After an open training session with the team at the Liberty Stadium, Paul Clement told reporters: “The deal needs to be in the best interest of both parties involved, we've got a crucial season ahead of us.” The 27-year-old missed out of Swansea's tour to the US after pulling out amid interest from Everton, with the club saying he was “not in the right frame of mind.” Sigurdsson has since resumed training but will not feature in Swan's preseason match this Saturday.

Earlier on, Swansea rejected two formal bids from Everton Football Club with the last bid believed to be worth around $45 million for the Iceland international.

Sampdoria close in on Gaston Ramirez

According to Football Italia, Sampdoria is closing in on a move for Middlesbrough's Gaston Ramirez and are confident of finalizing a deal in the coming days. Following Middlesbrough relegation to the Championship, Gaston Ramirez is now on the hunt for a new club playing in the top flight and Sampdoria seems certain for him to join this summer.

Ramirez has experience playing in the Serie A, previously plying his trade for Bologna before joining Southampton Football Club in 2012 and later Middlesbrough. The Uruguayan scored twice and provided three assists in a total of twenty-four Premier League appearances for Middlesbrough last season.

Valencia set to sign Jeiso Murillo

Valencia CF are close to finalizing a deal worth $13.5 million for the 25-year-old, who's so desperate to leave Inter Milan, according to inter News. Both Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City are said to have made enquires, while Everton and Arsenal have held firm interest in the Colombia international. However, it seemingly appears all four Premier League clubs will finally miss out on Murillo's signature, with La Liga club Valencia set to finalize a deal this week. Jeison Murillo made 34 appearances for Inter Milan last term but his future at San Siro has been under “scrutiny” all summer.
