Everton FC are willing to sign Sandro Ramirez from Spanish La Liga club CF Malaga, after the youngster reportedly passed a medical at the Merseyside club. With top forward Romelu Lukaku set to leave Everton this summer, the Toffees are now searching for a new striker to lead the attack. Elsewhere, Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a $32m bid for AC Milan's prodigious keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, which could come as good news for Manchester United. Here's a complete report of the latest transfers updates Making The Rounds in the world of soccer:
Ramirez set to join Everton
Sandro Ramirez impressed with fourteen goals in twenty-one La Liga appearances last term for CF Malaga, who the youngster joined on a free Transfer from Barcelona last year summer.
But after only one full campaign at Malaga, he looks to be on the move with Everton Football Club closing in on a deal which could be officially announced this week, according to Skysports. Everton manager Ronald Koeman is set to strengthen his attacking lineup ahead of the new Premier League campaign with Romelu Lukaku set to leave Goodison Park and the Toffees preparing to push on from their seventh place finish last term.
They've already landed a new goalie in Jordan Pickford, who arrived from AFC Sunderland last week for a club record of $38m, and a new midfielder in Davy Klaasssen, who joined from Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam for $29.8million. Sandro Ramirez has been identified as an ideal replacement for Lukaku.
The former Barcelona youngster could cost Everton FC just $6.3million
Real Madrid keen on Donnarumma move
It was revealed last week Thursday that the young goalkeeper has decided to turndown AC Milan's latest contract offer meaning the young Italian could be sold out this summer transfer window or lost on a free transfer in twelve months time.
Manchester United have been heavily linked with the teenage goalkeeper in the past while Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain are also keeping close tabs on the Italian. According to 90min Football, Spanish giants Real Madrid are now willing to open the bidding with a fee of $32million offer for the teenage goalkeeper. Real Madrid have long been linked with a move for United first choice goalkeeper David De Gea, however it appears that the Spanish giants may have identified a new long term first choice goalie in Donnarumma.
It has been suggested that Serie A club AC Milan may decide against selling the Italian prospect this summer transfer market and make a point by making the youngster wait-out the final year of his contract on the bench. But Real Madrid's “big money” may make AC Milan think otherwise so Manchester United fans can apparently breathe a sign of relief.
