Manchester United Football Club could miss out on re-signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his agent has offered him to AC Milan. Elsewhere, Manchester City Football Club are preparing an ambitious move for Barcelona star Sergio Busquets, while Deportivo La Coruna have not given up hope of signing Arsenal forward Lucas Perez — but admit they are running out of time to land the Newcastle United target. Here's a full report of these transfer news:
Ibrahimovic's agent considers AC Milan move for his client
According to Express, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been offered to AC Milan by his agent, Mino Raiola.
The report claims that the proposal has come from the Swede's agent. The former Barcelona striker has previously spent time with the Italian club before, while he also enjoyed stints in Serie A with Inter Milan and Juventus. However, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has earlier expressed his interest in Ibrahimovic and said he is ready to re-sign him again once he is fully fit to play.
Manchester City enters chase to land Sergio Busquets
According to Daily Star, Manchester City Football Club have stepped up their chase to land Barcelona star Sergio Busquets this summer. City boss Pep Guardiola is in the transfer market for a new defensive midfielder following Fernando's recent departure to Galatasaray.
It is suggested that Sergio Busquets is in Manchester City's top transfer wish list for that role. However, the Spain international will certainly not come cheap given that he remains under contract at Barcelona for the next two seasons. Pep Guardiola was instrumental in the 29-year-old breakthrough into the first-team at Barcelona and it has been speculated that Guardiola now wants him at Manchester City Football Club.
Deportivo La Coruna not given up on Lucas Perez
La Liga outfit Deportivo La Coruna are keen on landing Arsenal's Lucas Perez this summer but admit they're running out of time to sign him, according to ESPN FC. Deportivo are said to be struggling much to meet Arsenal's $16m asking price for the Spaniard striker. The club's president, Tino Fernandez has now admitted that they're running out of time to sign Lucas Perez but said he has not given up just yet.
Tino Fernandez told reporters: “We can not wait much longer, and we are now looking at other options in the market. We are in August and it is an important position in the team and while nothing is impossible, we have a (financial) limit to work on.” Lucas Perez, 28, is looking for a way out of Arsenal this summer after being “stripped” of the number 9 shirt and apparently falling down the pecking order at the Emirates.
