Newcastle United and West Ham United will have to cough out in excess of $10.3m to sign Saint Etienne's highly rated defender Kevin Malcuit. Elsewhere, Chelsea's out of favor midfielder Marco Van Ginkel is attracting the interest of Dutch outfit PSV Eindhoven, while in Italy, Serie A giants Inter Milan have opened discussions over a new deal with Manchester United target Ivan Perisic. Here's a complete report of the latest transfer updates making the rounds:

Newcastle and West Ham keeps tabs on Malcuit

Kevin Malcuit is one of the players Saint Etienne is prepared to lose in order to raise funds for their own transfer targets this summer.

They're aware of the increasing interest in the 25-year-old defender. Fellow French Ligue 1 club Lille, recently had a bid of around $7.76million turned-down for the 25-year-old defender. Saint Etienne “deeming” the valuation of the defender as “unsatisfactory.” According to Tribal Football, Saint Etienne is demanding over $10.3million in order to part ways with their highly rated fullback. With interest high, the Ligue 1 club believe they can hold-out for such a transfer fee, as Newcastle United and West Ham United weigh-up their possible options.

Kevin Malcuit is reportedly said to be ready on a move to the EPL and have caught the attention of several English club sides during St Etienne's stunning run to the Europa League quarterfinals last season.

Chelsea set to ship out Van Ginkel this summer

Marco Van Ginkel, who spent the second stanza of last term on loan at Dutch side PSV Eindhoven, has reportedly been told he's not a part of Chelsea's immediate plans. And according to Standard Sport, Eindhoven are now eyeing a permanent move for the 24-year-old midfielder, but the both parties are yet to reach an agreement.

The Dutch international is said to be willing on a return to PSV but is due back for preseason training at Chelsea this week. Despite casting serious doubts over the Dutch midfielder immediate future at Chelsea, the Blues are still willing to keep a close-eye on Van Ginkel development.

Van Ginkel has made just four league appearances for Chelsea in four-years and he is expected to be shipped-out again this summer window.

Inter Milan willing to offer Perisic a new deal

The 28-year-old winger has been massively linked with a move to Manchester United this summer after impressing in Italy. But the Red Devils have been struggling much to settle for a fee for the winger, and negotiations with Inter Milan have apparently stalled. Inter Milan are now looking to “seize” the initiative and, according to Dailystar, Inter will now offer the Croatian international a new deal in the coming week. Despite previously being open to bids, the Italian giants have reportedly performed a “U-turn” and have apparently opened discussions with Perisic and his representative, in the hope he can be “persuaded” to remain at Inter Milan. The Italian giants are willing to offer the 28-year-old midfielder a new contract until the summer of 2022 worth around $90,500 a week.
