Newcastle United are on the verge of finalizing a deal for former Sunderland and Liverpool defender Javier Manquillo. Still, in England, Tottenham and Liverpool target Geoffrey Kondogbia wants to join Valencia on loan, while West Ham flop Sofiane Feghouli is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to Turkish club Galatasaray. Here's a complete report of the latest transfer updates Making The Rounds:

Newcastle close in on Manquillo move

Javier Manquillo has been deemed surplus to requirement at Atletico Madrid this summer and is not thought to be part of manager Diego Simeone's imminent plans for the new season.

And the 23-year-old defender, who made just ten appearances during a loan stint at Liverpool, is now on the verge of returning to England, according to Chronicle Live. Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has been “keen” to get business done early and now looks set to finalize a deal for the right back this week. Javier Manquillo is expected to arrive in Newcastle this week to undergo medical before signing a three-year contract with the club.

Valencia enters chase to sign Kondogbia

Geoffrey Kondogbia has been told he can leave Inter Milan this summer window, and he's keen to sort-out his future quickly. Tottenham and Liverpool have been extensively linked with the 24-year-old over the past months, and it was reported the both EPL clubs might firm-up their interest in the current summer transfer window.

However, Geoffrey Kondogbia wants to join La Liga club Valencia after they opened discussions with Inter Milan, according to Football Italia. Valencia is in close talks over a possible deal for Kondogbia that would see him join the Spanish club on loan. Inter Milan are excited to let the France international leave on a “temporary basis,” but they want Valencia to buy Kondogbia “outright” in a year for around $20.8million.

Galatasaray close in on Feghouli

Sofiane Feghouli apparently struggled much during his first season in the EPL making twenty-seven appearances in all competitions and scoring just four times. And, according to the Sun, Sofiane Feghouli is expected in Turkey this week to finalize the move. The transfer could be finalized before the end of this week, as West Ham manager Slaven Bilic “reshuffles” his squad after an underwhelming campaign last term. The 27-year-old Algeria international was not expected to feature prominently for the Hammers this season and has been permitted to move on in search of more playing time.
