Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to leave Real Madrid this summer. The Real Madrid superstar is said to have notified the club's president Fiorentino Perez that he wants to leave Spain after being allegedly hit with tax evasion charges leveled against him. Elsewhere, Roma and Celtic target Adnan Januzaj is against the idea of Man United insisting on a buyback option should the midfielder depart Old Trafford.

In Italy, AS Roma are close to hijacking Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur's pursuit of OGC Nice winger Jean Michael Seri.

Is Ronaldo actually ready to leave Real Madrid?

The Portuguese star has been accused of defrauding the Spanish tax authority of about €14.7m over image rights payment, an allegation the Portuguese "strenuously" rebuffs. According to Metro Sports, Ronaldo is said to be outraged by the treatment he has received and is now willing to depart Spain.

La Liga giants Real Madrid haven't officially commented on the issue, but Fiorentino Perez will apparently be determined to retain his prized-asset at Bernabeu. The Portuguese striker is contracted to the Spanish giants until the summer of 2021 and any possible deal for the former Manchester United striker would certainly be a world-record transfer.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a four-time Ballon d'Or winner, has apparently netted 406 times in 394 games for Real Madrid since his arrival from Premier League side Manchester United in the summer of 2009.

The 32-year-old superstar has consistently being broken many records at the Santiago Bernabeu and won several major domestic and international titles, including two Spanish La Liga trophies, three UEFA Champions Leagues and two FIFA Club World Cups.

Januzaj not part of United plans

Adnan Januzaj, who spent the last term on loan to relegated AFC Sunderland, is likely not expected to feature in Jose Mourinho's long-term plans and may quit Manchester United this summer.

According to Dailystar, The 22-year-old winger has been attracting several big interests from around Europe, including AS Roma, Celtic and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, it has been speculated that should Man United decides to offload the winger, they'll insist on a buyback option as part of any possible agreement. According to soccer.com, the Belgian winger has vetoed that proposal revealing he's willing on having a clean-break should he depart Manchester United this summer.

Loan stints at Borussia Dortmund and AFC Sunderland have not gone to plan for the youngster, but it has apparently been suggested that Man United do believe in the Belgian's talents and are willing on the buy back option for any agreement.

Barcelona, Tottenham leads chase for Seri

Jean-Michael Seri enjoyed another outstanding season in French Ligue 1, helping OGC Nice to a third spot finish behind Paris Saint-Germain, who finished second. Both Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on snapping up the Ivorian but are yet to begin talks with the player's agent, according to Goal.com.

The Italian giants appear to have stolen a march on their competitors by engaging in negotiations with Jean-Michael Seri's representatives.

Roma is currently discussing personal terms with the player's agent and are ready to meet OGC Nice's €40m transfer valuation to lure the 25-year-old midfielder to Italy.

Jean-Michael Seri currently has a contract with OGC Nice until the summer of 2019, but they'll do everything possible to resist advances of European top club sides ahead of the summer transfer market.
