The tandem of Enzo Amore and Big Cass are locked in another tag-team match with the Club’s Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson on the pre-show of Wwe Payback 2017 at SAP Center in San Jose, California.

What just happened?

More than a year after their WWE main roster debut, Enzo Amore and Big Cass are still seeking their first reign as WWE RAW tag-team champions. RAW’s most entertaining tag-team duo had a chance to fulfill their destiny at Wrestlemania 33, but the return of the Hardy Boyz at ‘the Showcase of the Immortals’ prevented them from accomplishing the task.

On the first “Monday Night RAW” after Wrestlemania, Enzo and Big Cass were once again given a chance to get another crack at the tag-team titles, but they once again came short against Sheamus and Cesaro in the no.1 contender’s match.

Gallows and Anderson also attempt to get back to the title picture as soon as possible after failing to defend the RAW tag-team gold in a fatal 4-way ladder match and regain the title the following night on RAW. The Club have been feuding with Enzo and Big Cass sporadically the past few months, but a victory on the pre-show could push them back to no.1 in the tag-team power-rankings.

Who’s going to win?

The Club is riding on a strong momentum heading into Payback after salvaging several victories the last few weeks.

The tandem of Gallows and Anderson has always been a force to be reckoned with in high-stake matches, and Sunday’s PPV event won’t be much of a difference.

However, the smart money should be placed on Enzo Amore and Big Cass. These two have waited long enough to get their first taste as WWE tag-team champions. It will be an intense 7 to 10-minute match with entertaining spots here and there.

But in the end, Amore and Cass will get the win and possibly a date at the Hardy Boyz next.

What’s next?

Again, Amore and Cass are expected to feud with the Hardy Boyz, who are also projected to retain their titles on Sunday. According to sources, this rivalry has the potential to become one of the best in 2017, especially if it could lead to the Hardy Boyz’s hellish transformation to Broken Hardys.

As we all know by now, WWE has reportedly settled an agreement with TNA’s Anthem Sports and Entertainment to bring the Broken Gimmick to WWE programming soon. As for Gallows and Anderson, they could find themselves feuding with the Revival, although that could wait for eight weeks until Dash Wilder returns from a jaw fracture injury.
