In a statement released on thursday, the Catalan giants officially announced that the former Brazilian International will act as the club's representative at various formal functions and educational talks and mentoring, as he becomes part of the "Barcelona Legends project."
Ronaldinho prepares for his new tasks
Ronaldinho is expected to join former Barca players who will take part in the club's matches and conduct soccer clinics and training sessions for aspiring footballers worldwide. He will also play a key role in the barcelona foundation events relating to the United Nations Children's Fund Program(UNICEF),including La Masia 360 project to assist in training duties and mentoring.
Last weekend, Ronaldinho received a warm-hearted reception from his former club - Paris Saint Germain when he paid them a visit,as they are also expected to attend the Signing Ceremony for his ambassadorial terms on Friday at the Camp Nou.
Ronaldinho achievements with Barca
Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, popularly known as Ronaldinho became an household name around the world when he joined Barcelona in 2003 from French side Paris Saint Germain in a transfer worth $35million.

Ronaldinho won numerous trophies during his time at Camp nou - He won his first La liga title in 2004/2005 season and won it again the following season with the Supercopa de España and the UEFA Champions league. After winning every major titles with Barcelona , He lost focus , clubbing and less training and these resulted to his eventual sold out from Barca.
