Chelsea’s determination to win the english premier league title this season is on course. The team is currently leading with 12 and with a total of 60 points while rival Manchester City is second with 58 points and Tottenham and Arsenal are in third and fourth place respectively with 50 points each.

Unimpressive Leicester City

Defending champions, Leicester City is one place beyond regulation with just 21 points in 25 matches. Most times, I wonder why Leicester who showed up with an impressive performance last season leading to it winning the trophy could moving closer to the delegation, match after match.

Fans were highly expectant of the team but were disappointed over their non-impressive performance this season.

Analysts have predicted Chelsea to win the title this season giving their unchallenged performance. 12 points lead is not an easily fit. Especially for an English Premier League title which is keenly contested. With the pace at which the team is moving the sky would be their limit if they maintain and gather more momentum.

Determined to succeed

A club that was in disarray, which could not even qualify for the biggest soccer tournament in Europe, the Champions League under the watch of former coach Jose Mourinho, to have successfully taken a sweeping lead that might lead it to claim the title it’s worth emulating.

It is indeed a turning point of the blues, as they are popular known by fans. For more than a decade the team has not lifted the English Premier League title.

Unstoppable Blues

Teams like Manchester City and Arsenal still believes they can displace Chelsea and clinch the trophy despites Chelsea’s unflinching feat this season.

Though there are about 15 more games to the end of the season but there is no likelihood that the Blues would give up so easily to any rival team. It would be a fight to finish dislodging Chelsea who is so much hungry and thirsty for the title this season. The last time the team lifted the trophy was about 12 years ago, but if they keep the momentum and continue at the pace they are going the team would be unstoppable.
