According to "E! News", Rachel McAdams is expecting a baby. Rachel McAdams, the star from the movie, “The Notebook” is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jamie Linden. According to InTouch Weekly magazine, she is said to be already seven months pregnant. E! Online and UsWeekly also claim to have sources that confirm that Rachel is expecting a baby.
Rachel expecting a baby at 39 years old
Rachel and Jamie met in 2016 and have kept a very low-key relationship. Rachel dated several famous actors since 2005. She dated her 'Notebook' co-star, Ryan Gosling, from 2005 until 2007.
After that, she dated Michael Sheen from the film “Midnight in Paris” in 2010. Michael and Rachel split up in 2013, ending their two-year relationship.
Rachel and Jamie have not made a debut on the red carpet as an official couple yet. They rarely show up together for public appearances. Rachel did not show up on Wednesday, February 21, in Los Angeles for her new dark comedy premiere, “Game Night.” Costars Jason Bateman, Kyle Chandler, and Michael C. Hall all showed up to the premiere. Even Jennifer Aniston, attended the premiere to support her friend, Jason Bateman after her break up with Justin Theroux. Rachel was last spotted in November at the Pearson International airport in Toronto. It has been speculated that Rachel wore baggy clothes to hide the baby bump.
Her absence to the premiere fueled even more speculations about the news of the pregnancy.
Is Jamie the father?
Rachel expressed to Instyle magazine in 2010 that, “Part of me is very attached to the idea of having children. It’ll depend on if I find the person I want to do that with.” Rachel wants to have a family and magazines have confirmed that she is fond of the idea of having children.
However, with whom and when is still unclear.
In 2009, Rachel told People magazine that she couldn’t wait to become a mother. In 2015, Marie Claire magazine also noted that Rachel says she would like to have kids at some point. Rachel McAdams also told People magazine that "My mom is a great inspiration to me...She's a nurse and very nurturing and gentle.
She lets me be who I am. Hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her." Now, Rachel is possibly going to be a mom and will be able to nurture her first child like her mom.
While it is uncertain if Jamie is the father of Rachel’s first baby, many believe it is his baby. Rachel’s representative could not be reached for any confirmation.
