The collection was in the works for over two years. The production began after the singer signed a deal in 2016 with LVMH division. The brand features over 40 foundation shades, 20 highlighter shades, and lip glosses. The products are available on fentybeauty.com as well as Sephora stores across the country. The product will also be available for purchase in Sephora stores, and luxury department store Harvey Nichols for UK customers.

Diverse and unique

Highlighter shades have already been incredibly popular, with YouTuber Jeffree Star already giving it a Jeffree Star stamp of approval. Hailing it well-priced with blending sponges retailing at just $16 with the high-end contour sticks retailing for around $54.

Of course, with brand new makeup, additional new makeup tools are needed, Fenty has that covered too. The new beauty blender is different from the traditional sponge with a side chunk and a flat top. A synthetic highlighter brush is designed to replicate a shark tooth, and the brush is angled to access the curve of the cheekbones.

The brand has already been praised for the wide range of foundation shades, with over 40 for once all women are catered to. A recent Instagram post-Rihanna proudly stated "Gotta represent for my girls and we come in all shades! Especially my brown sisters…. been left out too many times in the makeup world!"

"Makeup is there for you to have fun with," Rihanna said.

"It should never feel like pressure. It should never feel like a uniform. Feel free to take chances, and take risks, and dare to do something new or different."

Future Fenty

While there are no eye pallets, eyeliner or mascara just yet, there are, however, eye-popping highlighters. The most interesting contour stick is a shade of purple.

This shade was recently featured on the cover of Vogue, in which Rihanna struck a pose.

Packaging is hailed as "cute" and "innovative" with many of the products magnetic being able to connect various products together. The formation turns into a honeycomb creation, making more room in the makeup bag.

Fenty will sell over 91 diverse beauty products.
