I love a reunion this time of year! The "Jersey Shore" gang are back and ready to GTL! The popular Reality Tv Show ran from 2009-2012. Since then the cast members have gone on to individual success.
It's been nearly five years since "Jersey Shore" aired its series finale with fans craving for a reunion ever since.The show garnered a reputation for its hard-partying ways, "Jersey Shore" went on to air six seasons, 71 episodes and a season special with a trip to Italy.
Jersey Shore: Parenthood
Jenni 'JWoww' went on to marry Roger in 2015 whom she met on the show, they are parents to two children Meilani, 3, and 15-month-old Greyson.
Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is one of the breakout stars of the show, Nicole also went onto to marry Jionni and had to two children Lorenzo, 5 and Giovanni, 3. Famous for her giant hair, super tanned skin and love of leopard Nicole has had an image overhaul. Now a fitness guru after losing 42 lbs, has many business ventures. JWoww and Nicole have both come a long way since their crazy party days at Seaside Heights, they team up regularly creating parenting vlogs.
Mike 'The Situation' known for being the king of hook ups on the show later went on to become king of reality TV shows after the show ended in 2009. Appearing on Dancing with the stars, Marriage Bootcamp reality stars edition, Worst Cooks in American and the UK celebrity Big Brother.
The Reunion
The group was briefly reunited in July for a Burger King advert, advertising the new Italian chicken parmesan sandwiches. The advert saw the cast talk about their lives such as parenthood, marriage, and future babies. This threw fans into a frenzy, hoping they would be able to get the reunion they've been hoping for.
Social media was sent into overdrive after Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino released an Instagram post of the cast together. Nicole "Snooki' Polizzi confirmed the speculation with her Instagram caption "IT'S HAPPENING GUYS! August 20th on E! with my Best Friends! Love my roomies forever."
The show titled Reunion Road Trip: Return to the Jersey Shore airs on Sunday.
This week a teaser trailer with clips of the costars joking about the past. The cast talks about the previous hook ups, including the ones they had with each other during the show.
The "Jersey Shore" also starred Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino, Deena Nicole Cortese and Angelina Pivarnick, though Angelina left in season two. It's unclear who in particular will be featured for the reunion, with many unsure if the whole cast is included.
