“Grey’s Anatomy” season 14 will premiere on Sept. 28, 2017, Thursday with a special two-hour episode on ABC. Although there’s still a month left before the premiere, a lot of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 14 spoilers have already flooded the internet.

Jackson and Maggie’s romantic angle
Notably, the season 13 finale episode gave us some hints about a new romantic couple. According to Spoilers Guide, the finale episode left fans wondering if Jackson (Jesse Williams) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) are more than just friends.
April (Sarah Drew), who plays the character of Jackson’s ex-wife, felt that Jackson has romantic feelings for Maggie. In the last season, the two came closer to each other when Jackson treated Maggie’s mother.
The new season is likely to start from the season 13 finale episode which showed the explosion in the hospital. After the hospital explosion took place, April saw Jackson searching for Maggie even when there was fire all over the place. This made her sense that her ex-husband has feelings for Maggie. April even went to Maggie and told her about it. Maggie’s reaction to that was not shown. It will surely be interesting to find out if Jackson and Maggie’s relationship takes a romantic turn in the new season.
In an interview with EW, Kelly McCreary said that April’s revelation about Jackson’s feelings for her character is quite surprising as it has never crossed her mind before. The actress added that Maggie will probably try to figure out if that’s true or not. Although McCreary did not confirm whether the two characters will finally realize their love for each other in the upcoming season, she did say that there is a possibility of the storyline happening.
Alex-Jo-DeLuca love triangle
The upcoming season is also expected to focus on the love triangle between Alex (Justin Chambers), Jo Wilson (Camilla Luddington), and Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti). In the last season, both Alex and Andrew DeLuca developed feelings for Jo. Camilla Luddington told TV Guide that fans might see Jo falling for DeLuca in the upcoming season.
However, the DeLuca-Jo romantic angle might not begin soon as Jo’s estranged husband Paul (Matthew Morrison) will be making a comeback in the show. Elsewhere, Megan will possibly return in the show and a new doctor named Carina (Stefania Spampinato) will enter Sloan Memorial Hospital.
