The popular Korean pop boy group called BTS has finally confirmed that they’re coming back to the music scene this fall. The idol group hasn’t released anything new for a while, so countless fans are looking forward to their comeback.
BTS is finally making a comeback
A couple of days ago, there were various reports from insiders and representatives from the South Korean music industry claiming that BTS, also referred to as Bangtan Boys or Beyond The Scene, is gearing up to make a comeback soon. The group is reportedly already working on their new songs.
Even the idol group's leader, Rap Monster, revealed last month that they were already working on their comeback. Shortly after the reports came out, Big Hit Entertainment released an official statement regarding the group’s upcoming plans.
The agency confirmed the reports and announced that BTS is aiming to return to the music scene this September. However, the group and the agency have not yet made up their minds on whether they’ll be releasing a mini album or a full album.
Rap Monster also reassured fans that they are continuously working on their new album to make sure that it will be another great one. It has been five months since the popular idol group released their full studio album, “You Never Walk Alone,” so fans are eagerly anticipating their new release.
Even though they have been busy with fan events and overseas concerts, the group's music continues to be at the top. They have already sold over nine million singles and almost five million albums worldwide.
A K-Pop artist that the world should know
BTS made their debut as an idol group in June 2013 and they have managed to amass a large fan base in South Korea and several other countries.
However, the boys rose to worldwide fame and were finally recognized by several foreign artists when they appeared at the recent Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The idol group went home with the Top Social Artist award this year after battling it out with artists Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, and Justin Bieber. The award was one of the two fan-voted categories and the South Korean group nabbed the title from Canadian singer Bieber, who won the award for six consecutive years.
BTS has become today’s most popular K-pop groups and even Rolling Stone hailed them as one of the hottest artists in the world that people should know about. The group continues to receive love from the international music scene as popular groups such as DNCE revealed that they’re interested in doing a collaboration.
