Summer movie season is upon us and a lot of interesting films are set to release. This month, “Everything, Everything,” “Baywatch,” and “Snatched” are scheduled to be released. Many of the studios’ mega-budget films are released on a monthly basis. It would not be wrong to say that the competition among Hollywood filmmakers is very high. Everyone in this industry wants to defeat the others. As the days lengthen and the beaches dry out, we are getting excited about the below films.

‘Everything, Everything’

“Everything, Everything” is one of the most anticipated films of the month.

This romantic drama is directed and co-produced by Stella Meghie and scripted by J. Mills Goodloe. The story is inspired by a novel of the same name by Nicola Yoon. It is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2017, by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, and Warner Bros.

The film features Anika Noni Rose, Nick Robinson, Amandla Stenberg, Taylor Hickson, Morgan Saylor, Wayne Brady, and Coy Stewart. Principal photography started in September 2016 in British Columbia and concluded in January 2017.

‘Baywatch’ – the film

“Baywatch” is a mega-budget Hollywood film by Seth Gordon, based on the famous TV show of the same name. the cast includes Dwayne Johnson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff, Ilfenesh Hadera, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach, Zac Efron, and Jon Bass.

The film is shot in Florida, Georgia, and Los Angeles. It is scheduled to be released on May 25, 2017, by Paramount Pictures. The story is about two mismatched lifeguards, Zac and Dwayne, who shake hands to fight against a female criminal, (Chopra). They aim to stop her money laundering and drug trafficking operation. In Canada and the United States, “Baywatch” is projected to gross $55 million on the opening weekend.

‘Snatched’ – the Hollywood film

“Snatched” is a 2017 action comedy by Jonathan Levine, with Amy Schumer, Katie Dippold and Kim Caramel serving as screenplay writers. The film features Goldie Hawn (The Banger Sisters), Joan Cusack, Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz, Christopher Meloni, Oscar Jaenada, Randall Park, Tom Bateman, and Katie Dippold.

It is scheduled to be released on May 12, 2017, by 20th Century Fox. The story revolves around a mother and daughter who are tired of their relationships and decide to travel to a distant island. In February 2016, it was reported that Goldie was recruited to play Schumer's mom in this film. Christopher Meloni, Oscar Jaenada, Ike Barinholtz, and Wanda Sykes were added to the project in June 2016. Principal photography began in July 2016 and concluded in January 2017.
