Box office projections

Though it’s too early to say anything about how much the new “Fate of the Furious” movies will gross at the box office, they may make a lot more than the original due to better storylines and star cast. “Fast 8” is directed by F. Gary Gary and written by Chris Morgan.

As of May 27, 2017, the movie has grossed over $1 billion at the global box office and received positive comments from critics and audiences. It sets the record of the biggest opening day of the year in sixteen markets, Universal Pictures’ highest-grossing film, and the biggest paid previews of all time in Vietnam, Singapore, Venezuela, and Malaysia.
