The latest “Fast and Furious” has managed to gross more than $215 million in the United States and Canada and over $995 million worldwide against a production budget of $250 million. No doubt, it is one of the highest-grossing movies of the year, and the top-earning Universal Pictures project so far. Following the success of “The Fate of the Furious,” the studio announced that it would develop three new movies, including “Fast & Furious 9,” “Fast & Furious 10,” and a spin-off.

‘Fast & Furious 9'

The Fate of the Furious 9” will feature an assembled cast led by Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and vin diesel.

All of the gang members will reunite, and the war between Dom and Deckard Shaw seems to continue with its fullest. The plot is kept under wrap, but we know that “The Fate of the Furious 9” will hit a theater near you on April 19, 2019. In the new movie, the good vibes between Dom and Deckard are likely to be put to the test with the return of Han Luke.

‘Fast & Furious 10'

“The Fate of the Furious 10” is scheduled for April 2, 2021. In this film, Dominic Toretto will be shown as changing his lifestyle. He moves on in life and wants to become a father as early as possible. The movie will also depict Dom teaching his children how to live their life, and achieve success. The film is being produced by Neal Moritz and likely to mark the end of Dom’s story.

Deckard Shaw and Luke Hobbs spin-off

An untitled spin-off is scheduled for summer 2022, and there is no information about the cast members other than Vin Diesel. It has been rumored that the deleted “The Fate of the Furious” scenes will be added to the spin-off, but officials have refused to comment anything in this regard. The film will have potential to entertain fans with its action sequences and visual effects.

Box office projections

Though it’s too early to say anything about how much the new “Fate of the Furious” movies will gross at the box office, they may make a lot more than the original due to better storylines and star cast. “Fast 8” is directed by F. Gary Gary and written by Chris Morgan.

As of May 27, 2017, the movie has grossed over $1 billion at the global box office and received positive comments from critics and audiences.

It sets the record of the biggest opening day of the year in sixteen markets, Universal Pictures’ highest-grossing film, and the biggest paid previews of all time in Vietnam, Singapore, Venezuela, and Malaysia.
