Universal released the final teaser trailer for “Despicable Me 3” last night. This latest clip is full of Minions -- the animated characters that play a significant role in “Despicable Me” film series.

In the sequel, Steve Carell is not reprising his role as Gru. He is, instead, playing Gru’s twin brother Dru who has all features similar to Gru except his hair. Also, there is a difference of habits; Gru is the hero of “Despicable Me 3,” while Dru aims to destroy the humanity. Gru faces off against Balthazar Bratt (Trey Parker), a child star who got supernatural powers.

The latest trailer also shows Bratt in a small role, but there’s no information about what is his relation with Gru and Dru. Is he going to collaborate with Gru in a fight against Dru, or set to support Dru in his evil mission?

What does the trailer depict?

The final clip for “Despicable Me 3” features an assemble cast led by Steve Carell, Trey Parker, and Kristen Wiig. The film also stars Dana Gaier as Edith, Miranda Cosgrove as Gru’s adoptive daughter, Nev Scharrel as Gru’s younger daughter, Steve Coogan as Silas, and Pierre Coffin as Minion. Julie Andrews and Jenny Slate make cameo appearances in this movie. Illumination may not develop the best-animated films, but it makes a lot of money from the cartoon films; “Despicable Me 3” is set to continue that trend.

From the teaser trailer, it is evident that “Despicable Me 3” will feature lots of visual effects and quality graphics. The film also has some gadget action and many Minions babbling and laughing. “Despicable Me 3” will mix things up by adding a twin brother of Gru, which we never saw in the previous films. The film explores the positive side of Gru and the negative side of Dru.

He returns to the family of villains and is ready to commit crimes.
