When looking at franchises like "Rocky, "Rambo," and "The Expendables," Stallone was not only the number one star in all the movies but he was also the producer on them and wrote or directed a number of them as well. It was a huge time-consuming role for Sly to play. However, when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Stallone is no different than someone like Kurt Russell, who also appears in the new "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie.

According to one rumor, Stallone might be playing Starhawk, one of the original Guardians in the comics - as Yondu was as well. In the movie, he is expected to play a Ravager and the former mentor to Yondu until they had a falling out.
