Paramount Pictures has released two new “Baywatch” posters last night, featuring Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson on sunny beaches. At a glimpse, we feel that the entire cast has gone shirtless and spending quality time on the sand. “Baywatch” follows a brave lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) and his friends. Together, they uncover a group of criminals that threaten future of the Bay. Promotion and marketing of the film have begun, and tickets are being sold online. Zac, Dwayne, and Priyanka Chopra regularly upload movie stills on their official social media accounts.

‘Baywatch’ on the big screen

The film offers a big-screen take on the TV series that was premiered in 1989, on NBC. The cast of the series included Billy Warlock, Erika Eleniak, Parker Stevenson, David Hasselhoff, Holly Gagnier, Peter Phelps, Brandon Call, and Shawn Weatherly. Initially, the series did not receive satisfactory comments from the audience and was canceled. But later it was renewed for another season. In 1991, “Baywatch” returned to the small screen and continued for almost a decade. The second season of the series introduced several new faces, including Pamela Anderson and Yasmine Bleeth. Following its success, the show received a short-lived spin-off “Baywatch Hawaii.”

Seth Gordon has directed the highly-anticipated “Baywatch” film.

Previously, he made the headlines for blockbusters “Horrible Bosses” and “Identity Thief,” and brought home dozens of awards. The movie is financed by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Douglas Schwartz, Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, and Beau Flynn.

Zac Efron goes shirtless in the 'Baywatch' posters

The premiere of “Baywatch” is a month away and the film debuted several new posters.

Johnson and Efron captioned the new stills on Instagram yesterday. In one poster, both of them can be seen in the reflection of their co-star’s sunglasses. Priyanka Chopra looks incredible in the new stills.

Born in October 1987, Zac began his acting career from the “High School Musical” franchise. He rose to prominence after the success of “Hairspray,” “17 Again,” “New Year's Eve,” “Dirty Grandpa,” and “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.” The actor regularly receives offers from Hollywood.

His upcoming project is a biographical comedy, “The Disaster Artist.” Zac recently revealed that he has completed work for “Baywatch,” and is now participating in the promotion campaigns.

Previously, Paramount Pictures confirmed the release of this movie on May 19, but the studio delayed it a week as a sequel to “Terminator" is set to release on the same date. Now “Baywatch” will hit a theater near you on May 26, 2017. We look forward to the big-budget movie and have high expectations.
