The acclaimed filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie has taken to Instagram to post new photos of “Mission: Impossible 6.” He is currently filming several scenes with the whole cast in Paris, France. The upcoming project of Skydance and Paramount Pictures will see the return of Simon Pegg, Alec Baldwin, Rebecca Ferguson, and Sean Harris from the previous installment. Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt and is present in Europe for the shooting.
Director Christopher has confirmed that Vanessa Kirby (Everest, The Crown) and Henry Cavill (The Man of Steel) will play important roles in the movie.
McQuarrie, who helmed “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation,” is directing, co-producing and writing the sequel. He is the only director helmed more than once for the “Mission: Impossible” films. Previously, Brian De Palma directed the original adaptation, followed by sequels directed by Brad Bird, J.J. Adams, and John Woo.

Born in May 1983, Henry Cavill is a famous British-American actor. He is best known for his performance in “The Count of Monte Cristo,” “I Capture the Castle,” “Midsomer Murders,” “The Tudors,” “Stardust,” “Blood Creek,” and “Immortals.” Though the nature of his role in “Mission: Impossible 6” is unknown, the actor is present on the sets of the film in France.

In May 2015, The Tracking Board reported Tom Cruise is in the talks with Paramount Pictures for the new “Mission: Impossible” film. Later, the actor confirmed on The Daily that the movie is being developed. In August 2016, it was reported that Paramount halted production on the film due to salary disputes with Cruise. He was demanding a hefty amount for the new installment. Later on, THR confirmed that the dispute over salary had been resolved and production would begin in April 2017.
