george clooney, 55, opened up recently for the first time to announce that he and Amal, 39, are expecting twins. According to a report by the Express, the Twins are due in June 2017 and rumor has it they are a “pigeon pair,” i.e. a boy and a girl. The pregnancy has had a huge effect on the couple, with Clooney saying they will have to be more cautious as they become parents.

Things will have to change for the Clooney family

With Amal’s work as an international human rights lawyer, they have traveled to many high-risk countries in the past, including Egypt, when Amal was representing a journalist there.

George has been involved in the Darfur conflict in South Sudan and was even arrested back in 2012 for blockading the door to the Sudan Embassy in Washington, DC.

Obviously, with two little ones coming along, this will all need to change and the “exciting side” of their life will now be away from any danger zones in the world. SFGate reports they will then concentrate more on the excitement of the birth of the twins and parenthood. The Oscar-winning actor also spoke about possible locations for the family to settle down, especially when the babies arrive later in the year.

With the homes, the couple's own they have quite a choice and the main candidates for George and Amal are currently England, Italy, and America. Obviously, while the children are small, they will be able to move around between those homes, depending on their own respective schedules, but as soon as the kids start school, things will have to change.

Speaking of the rumor (apparently from the babies' future grandmother) that the twins are a boy and a girl, Clooney spoke up saying he didn't know where that came from, as they don’t yet know the sexes of the babies themselves yet. However, he did say that both he and Amal are really happy and very excited about becoming parents and that it was going to be quite an adventure for both of them.
