When the tape of Donald Trump boasting of his prowess with women hit the airwaves, Hillary Clinton, his rival for the presidency, tweeted, “This is horrific. We cannot allow this man to become president.” Of course, since we know from the WikiLeaks revelations that Clinton has a private as well as a public position on the issues, she probably danced a jig and cried out in exaltation like a little girl who just got her favorite Barbie doll for Christmas. After all, her campaign almost certainly leaked the tape to the media at the exact time that it would do the most damage.
Clinton has long experience with men who are boorish and worst toward women. She is married to Bill Clinton, a philanderer and likely a serial rapist. When word of the former president’s what has been euphemistically called “indiscretions” reached her ear, “horrific” was likely the only PG language that the famously filthy mouthed former secretary of state used. However, Ms. Clinton supported her husband’s quest for the presidency in full knowledge of what he had likely done to Juanita Broaddrick and supported his staying in the White House also knowing what he had done to Kathleen Willey in the Oval Office.
Hillary Clinton led operations to intimidate and silence Broaddrick, Willey, and other women who had been victimized by her husband because as “horrific” as what was done to them was, even more so from her point of view would have been the political damage that the incidents would have caused had they gotten a full airing.
Not only would her husband have been damaged, but her own relentless lust for power.
“Horrific” does not even begin to describe what was done to Kathy Shelton, who at the age of 12 was savagely beaten and raped by two men, one of them in his 40s, and left in a coma for five days. She was rendered unable to have children and was psychologically scarred for life.
The defense lawyer for her older attacker, Hillary Rodham, got the rapist off for time served by smearing Kathy, claiming, “I have been informed that the complainant is emotionally unstable with a tendency to seek out older men and engage in fantasizing, I have also been informed that she has in the past made false accusations about persons, claiming they had attacked her body.” Hillary Rodham also managed to get forensic evidence thrown out on a technicality.
Horrific? The English language has no words.
