One best-selling author has had it with Hollywood liberals whining about the election, and it's not Bill O'Reilly or Ann Coulter.

Bret Easton Ellis, author of "American Psycho," delivered a scathing 35-minute rant on his Monday podcast directed at celebrities who are still having a difficult time coming to grips with the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

Ellis encourages Hollywood liberals to seek psychiatric help

During his rant, Ellis said that you can either accept the fact that Donald Trump has been elected president, "Or you can have a complete mental and emotional collapse and let the Trump presidency define you." Ellis, who did not vote for Trump, added, "If you are still losing your s*** about Trump, I think you should probably go to a shrink and not let the bad man that was elected define your self-victimization and your life."

The acclaimed author called out lena dunham and Barbra Streisand in particular.

Both celebrities have claimed that President Trump has influenced their weight, with Dunham claiming that Trump was the reason she lost weight and Streisand claiming that Trump was the reason she packed on pounds.

In February, Dunham appeared on the Howard Stern show on SiriusXM and said that she stopped being able to eat food after Donald Trump became president. "Try soul-crushing pain and devastation and hopelessness and you, too, will lose weight," Dunham added.

A few weeks later, Barbra Streisand tweeted that Trump was having the opposite effect on her waistline, joking that she "turns to pancakes smothered in maple syrup" every time she sees Trump on the news.

"Time for more pancakes," Streisand later tweeted after Trump claimed that Barack Obama had been tapping his phones.

Ellis believes that Streisand and Dunham are merely blaming somebody else for their "own problems and neuroses."

Streep's Golden Globes speech was in poor taste, says Ellis

Ellis then lashed out at actress Meryl Streep, who infamously gave an anti-Trump speech during the Golden Globes.

According to Ellis, Streep's speech was in poor taste and only served to highlight the hypocrisy of the left's "moral superiority". Ellis said that, during Streep's speech, all he could think about was the cost of her gown and her $30 million Greenwich Village apartment.

The American Psycho creator also said that he had several dinner parties ruined by "rich people complaining about politics", although he added that he attended one Hollywood dinner where everyone present said they were going to vote for Trump.

According to the Daily Mail, Ellis didn't vote for Trump because he lives in California-- a state that is always carried by Democrats by a wide margin.
