Pet expo sells out Orlando exhibit space
Global Pet Expo is presented by the American Pet Products Association and Pet Industry Distributors Association. This Orlando event serves as the launching point for brand new products every year, with more than 3,000 launches taking place there in 2016. New products compete for “Best in Show” awards each year to snag the coveted industry honor. This year, booth space sold out over a month before the show. American Pet Products Association Executive Vice President/COO Andy Darmohraj said, “We work tirelessly throughout the year to continue to improve the experience for exhibitors, buyers and media alike,” said Darmohraj. “As the largest annual pet products trade show, we’re thrilled to be sold out nearly a month ahead of the Show opening.
We expect Global Pet Expo 2017 to be another record-breaking event.”
Pet trade show earns industry recognition
Global Pet Expo gets recognition from the trade show industry as number 61 on the “Gold 100” list compiled by Trade Show Executive magazine. It’s one of the top 100 tradeshows known for “setting the gold standard” in areas like space, exhibitors, and attendance.
It’s also ranked 48 on the magazine’s list of the top 50 fastest growing trade shows and was recognized by the Trade Show News Network as one of the top 25 fastest growing shows based on net square footage.
While Global Pet Expo isn’t open to the general public during its stint in Orlando, Florida, you’ll see the products introduced there roll out throughout the year. Watch for them at pet shops, general retailers, and boutique stores throughout 2017.
