It’s been a long wait, but it’s almost here. Opening May 27, 2017, the mythical world of Pandora (from the movie "Avatar") is the largest expansion in the history of the Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The imaginary land is filled with floating mountains and bioluminescent rainforests. But the biggest thrill of Pandora is the two new rides. The Na'vi River Journey is a family boat ride where guests meet the Shaman of Songs (a life-like animatronic Na’Vi with detailed facial movements).

The second ride, Flight of Passage, will take guest aboard “living, breathing” banshees for an unforgettable flight.

Pandora is expected to be filled with glowing plants, amazing creatures, a new restaurant and, of course, a Pandora gift shop.
