Blizzard is once again putting together developers, fans, critics, and more to partake in its annual convention. Everyone will celebrate and witness a huge array of activities and presentation of all things Blizzard. For 2017, Blizzcon will be held in Anaheim, California, on Friday, November 3 and Saturday, November 4. This year will be the 11th annual BlizzCon for Blizzard Entertainment.
What can 'World of Warcraft' fans expect?
The activities related to the "World Of Warcraft" ("WoW") game are indeed very entertaining. On Friday, there will be five separate activities for "World of Warcraft." Below is a list of the activities.
The first activity for "World of Warcraft" fans kicks off at 12:30 PM, as the development team will give and present an overview of the future expansion plans of "WoW," along with its recently added features. After a short lunch break, the activities will resume with the popular podcast host, Allcraft. He will be joined by a very special guest which is yet to be announced.
Around 2:00 PM the women who provide the voices for "Warcraft" will take over. The actresses of the most formidable heroines of Azeroth (both life an undeath) will share their insights on their career and how they have honed their craft. The last special activity for the "World of Warcraft" fans on Day 1 will be a complete dive into the "WoW" gameplay, as the development team will show, firsthand, the latest gameplay updates.
And while all those events are happening on Day 1, the "WoW" Arena World Championship will be live and running from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The tournament will feature two brackets this year, A and B. That is just Day 1 of BlizzCon and all those activities mentioned above are only for "World of Warcraft." Blizzard fans will surely have the time of their lives at the event.
What are the other games featured in BlizzCon?
BlizzCon will feature all the big titles Blizzard Entertainment has released so far, like, "Overwatch," "Heroes of the Storm," "Hearthstone," "Diablo," and "Starcraft."
For "Overwatch," 2016 BlizzCon unraveled Sombra’s animated short alongside her presence as a playable hero in the hugely popular shooter.
With "Overwatch" being a huge hit the past couple of years, there is no doubt that the "Overwatch" presentation will not disappoint.
"Heroes of the Storm" has been steadily growing at an amazing rate this year. With Ana and Kel'Thuzad added in the month September it only seems fitting that Blizzard will have another big announcement for "Heroes of the Storm" fans. It has been rumored that the game may see a new hero, and it only seems fitting that it will be announced at this years BlizzCon.
