"Star Wars" fans who are looking forward to the slew of new content and films that are set to arrive this year would be glad to know that the DLCs for the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" game from EA DICE are all coming for free.

In fact, the studio won't require a Season Pass for any of the DLCs that are set to arrive at the action shooter video game coming this November. According to VG247, the first DLC will come as soon as December, just a month after the game drops on November 17. Interestingly, the DLCs will arrive as "themed-seasons" for the game.

Loads of new content from the films coming at the game

Players who are purchasing "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" in November will be able to get their hands on different characters, starfighters, space battles, planetary conflicts, and more content free. They'll even get the planet Crait from "Episode 7: The Last Jedi" absolutely free of cost. The game's design director

The game's design director Niklas Fegraeus told Gamespot that the reason behind giving away DLC content for free is because "What we wanted to do was have a journey that starts at the launch of the game. So when the game begins, this journey starts with different seasons [of DLC]." He explained that the studio did not want to divide their players by how much money they're willing to spend on the game.

He said, "No one will ever be locked away by some purchase that they made."

EA DICE keeps its ears open to player feedback

This isn't the first time that "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" creators listened to their fans.

In fact, EA CEO Andrew Wilson, who was on hand at the EA Play conference, explained that they appreciated the players' feedback, regardless if it was positive or negative, and used this to create an even better game for the players.

Speaking of feedback, it seems that EA DICE has heard the comments of some fans who wanted a more expansive world in the game.

In fact, the upcoming sequel to the 2015 "Star Wars: Battlefront" will feature more of the franchise's 40-year history, The Verge reported.
