Nourishing Meat Salads can be served as the main course or as a side dish. They look more attractive when served with vegetables and bring bright variety to any festive menu. According to сulinary traditions, meat salads can fully replace the main course of meat or fish. This dish does not contain much fat and is healthy.

To cook delicious salads as side dishes, people often choose chicken meat. Such salads can be served cold, after lightly frying in a frying pan and being cut into thin strips. Salads from beef are more nutritious, and a salad from pork can also be the basic dish.

Cooked, baked, smoked or grilled meat goes well with beans, cereals, potatoes or mushrooms. Use mayonnaise, sweet mustard or garlic yogurt sauce for any salad. Meat for salads can also be boiled. Use low-fat varieties of beef, lamb, veal, poultry.

You can try a dressing with a mixture of lemon juice, olive oil, and a few drops of brandy to taste. Make the proportions of vegetables and meat at least 3:1.

Everybody had their own favorite recipe for salads. I prefer cold beef salads for lunch, I find them healthy and substantial. Here are three delicious recipes for meat salads.

1) Meat salad with potatoes and cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1lb. of beef
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 3 pickles
  • 4 potatoes
  • 0.3 lb. of hard cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Parsley

Directions:

  • Boil the beef in salted water for one and a half to two hours. When it becomes soft, boil the potatoes.
  • Chop all the ingredients and spread them in layers: beef, potatoes, some Salt And Pepper, mayonnaise, pickles, cheese, mayonnaise, tomatoes, some salt and pepper, mayonnaise, cheese and chopped parsley.

2) Meat salad with onion

Ingredients:

  • 0.4 lb. of beef
  • 1 onion
  • 2 chicken eggs
  • 0.2 lb. of hard cheese
  • 0,034 oz. of vinegar (9%)
  • 1 glass of water
  • Salt
  • Back pepper
  • Mayonnaise

Directions:

  • Boil the meat and grind it in the meat grinder. Cut the onion into half rings and leave in a bowl with water and vinegar for 10 minutes.
  • Separately grate cheese and boiled eggs.
  • Make layers: meat, mayonnaise, onion, mayonnaise, eggs, mayonnaise, cheese.

3) Meat salad with bread crackers

Ingredients:

  • 1.1 lb. of beef
  • 0.6 lb. of Chinese cabbage
  • 0.9 lb. of bread crackers
  • 1 onion
  • Mayonnaise
  • Parsley
  • 3 chicken eggs

Directions:

  • Finely chop the Chinese cabbage. Cut small cubes of boiled meat and chop hard-boiled eggs up with the onion.
  • Mix all the ingredients, season with mayonnaise and leave for 20 minutes to make the crackers soak. Decorate the salad with parsley right before serving.
