Customers who find the time to relax in a Regal movie theater while enjoying this mashup of warm, cheese-flavored popcorn and a movie of their choice will experience the wholesome goodness of Cheetos popcorn.

Frito-Lay's press release excites Cheetos lovers

According to Frito-Lay's corporate press release on Dec. 12, 2017, Cheetos popcorn will officially be available at all Regal Cinemas nationwide.

“Cheetos Popcorn is our gift to Regal fans enjoying their favorite movie this holiday season,” said John Curry, senior vice-president of foodservice, Regal Cinemas. “We are thrilled to partner with an iconic brand like Cheetos to deliver blockbuster snack choices to moviegoers.”

For those who have had the snack in movie theaters before, they would know this isn’t something new. This popcorn was first introduced to moviegoers in 2015 but not to all Regal Cinemas across the U.S.

On Twitter, news outlets and fans have been sharing their excitement.

This delicious treat has been around for years but not everyone around the world has had the chance to try it. Now, Regal Cinemas and Frito-Lay have collaborated to release this exciting product.

This Cheetos snack is here to stay

The big announcement is that this cheesy, iconic snack will be available all over the country. Regal Cinemas is the first national movie theater to incorporate Frito-Lay’s Cheetos and popcorn to customers. This specialty treat isn't a limited-time offer either, we can expect to have this tasty snack in movie theaters well past 2018.

"Cheetos and popcorn are the ultimate movie snack combination, and Regal cinemas is the perfect partner to launch Cheetos Popcorn nationally," said Sean Mathews, director of marketing at Frito-Lay North America.
