With Week 8 of NFL action concluding, it is once again time to look at the weekly fantasy stars who were mostly unowned.
In order to be eligible for inclusion, the player must have been owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues. Every week, there will be one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end highlighted.
QB - Phillip Rivers, Colts (262 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, -2 rushing yards)
For his second consecutive game (Colts had a bye in Week 7), Rivers is the quarterback on this list. It’s the first time he’s had back-to-back games with at least three passing scores since the first two weeks of the 2018 season while with the Chargers.

52-77 for 633 yards, 6 TDs, 1 INT, 114.0 passer rating
RB - DeeJay Dallas, Seahawks (41 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 5 receptions, 17 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
Down their top two running backs (Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde), Dallas stepped to the forefront for Seattle. He had 18 carries in Week 8 after totaling just two in the Seahawks’ first two carries, and he scored his first two career touchdowns.
Russell Wilson said he told DeeJay Dallas before the rookie running back made his first career start: “Great players, they always have to start somewhere.” Dallas scored two touchdowns in Seattle’s win with Chris Carson and Carlos Hyde sidelined. pic.twitter.com/OPs88eTLG7

RB - Jordan Wilkins, Colts (89 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 1 reception, 24 receiving yards, 1 2-point conversion)
After carrying the ball just twice (for zero yards) in the Colts’ previous two outings, Wilkins was surely a fantasy afterthought entering Week 8. He had 20 rushing attempts on Sunday, and offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni stated after the game that he has earned more opportunities according to 1070 The Fan in Indianapolis.
Jonathan Taylor gets a goal-line rush, line gets no push, gets stuffed.

Jordan Wilkins comes in, there's a gaping hole, scores.
This is Week 8.
WR - DaeSean Hamilton, Broncos (4 receptions, 82 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
A fourth round pick in 2018, Hamilton had season highs in targets (5) and catches (4) in Week 8. He also finished with a career-high of 82 receiving yards and a career-long of a 40-yard reception in the fourth quarter for a touchdown.

WR - Darnell Mooney, Bears (5 receptions, 69 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
Mooney was drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he has been targeted fairly often of late by Nick Foles. He has received 32 targets in the last five games.

TE - Taysom Hill, Saints (2 receptions, 30 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown, 35 rushing yards)
Now listed as a tight end in ESPN leagues (previously was listed as a quarterback), Hill caught his first touchdown ball of the season after tallying six in 2019. He’s also had at least one rushing attempt in each game of 2020 and finished with a season-high five carries in Week 8.
