New York Giants add 11 undrafted free agents to their team

With the NFL Draft ending on Saturday, the Giants added 11 undrafted players who are hopeful to make the roster.

With the NFL Draft being completed on Saturday, teams rush to sign undrafted free agents with the hopes that they can find a hidden gem.

The most famous undrafted free agent in recent memory for the Giants was wide receiver, Victor Cruz. He made the Pro Bowl in 2012 and had 1,536 receiving yards in the previous season.

Here are 11 undrafted free agents that will be joining the Giants and be given an opportunity to make the roster. The list of players was found at SBNation.

Christian Angulo, CB (Hampton)

Angulo was an All-Big South Conference Second Team member in 2019. He finished the last year with three interceptions and 14 pass breakups.

Case Cookus, QB (Northern Arizona)

In 12 games for Northern Arizona last year, Cookus completed 60.3 percent of his passes for 4,114 yards, 31 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. For his career, he threw 105 touchdowns compared to just 21 interceptions.

Derrick Dillon, WR (LSU)

On a LSU team loaded with receiver depth, Dillon caught 15 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns. He was more active as a junior in 2018 ending with 22 catches for 307 yards.

Tyler Haycraft, OT (Louisville)

Haycraft lined up on the opposite side of the offensive line from first-round pick Mekhi Becton. The former walk-on started all 13 games at right tackle for Louisville last season.

Niko Lalos, DE (Dartmouth)

It was a banner 2019 season for the Ivy Leaguer, as according to Dartmouth’s team website, he was named to the Ivy League First Team and was named MVP of the Hula Bowl. Lalos finished the year with six sacks.

Javon Leake, RB (Maryland)

Leaving the Terrapins after his junior year, Leake rushed for 736 yards on an impressive 7.2 yards per carry and eight scores in 2019. He averaged 9.1 yards on his 34 rushing attempts in 2018.

Dana Levine, LB (Temple)

In his senior season, Levine recorded 11 tackles for a loss, 5.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. He finished his collegiate career with 11 sacks.

Austin Mack, WR (Ohio State)

Listed at 6-2, Mack has had similar impact in each of his last three years at Ohio State. In his sophomore to senior years, he caught between 24 to 27 passes for 331 to 361 yards.

Kyle Markway, TE (South Carolina)

With very little action in the passing game entering 2019, Markway broke out last year. In 11 games, he ended with 31 receptions for 349 yards and two touchdowns.

Kyle Murphy, C/G (Rhode Island)

Listed at 6-3, 316 lbs., Murphy was a team captain in 2019. He twice was named to the All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team.

Binjimen Victor, WR (Ohio State)

Victor had his most productive year as a senior catching 35 balls for 573 yards and six touchdowns. In four years with the Buckeyes, he had 83 receptions for 1,340 yards and 18 touchdowns.
