Sen. Corey Booker announced on Monday that he would no longer run for the Democratic presidential nomination after he failed to qualify for the upcoming democratic debate in Iowa. The New Jersey Senator entered the race, last February, with tremendous support but fell short of monetary support for the debate that's scheduled on Tuesday. NBC News reported, Booker made his public announcement after he held a staff call at his campaign headquarters in Newark, New Jersey.
It’s with a full heart that I share this news—I’m suspending my campaign for president.
