As we do each week, let’s take a look at the Week 7 fantasy football players who performed well despite mostly being unowned.
Every week, one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end are highlighted. In order to be considered, the player must have been owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues.
Note: It wasn’t a very strong week for running backs who were eligible for the list. Chase Edmonds of the Cardinals almost made it for a third straight week, but he just missed out as he was owned in 28.9 percent of ESPN leagues.
Quarterback - Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins (282 passing yards, 1 passing touchdown, 1 interception, 13 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown)
Regaining his spot as Miami’s starting quarterback from Josh Rosen, Fitzpatrick had the most-productive game by a Dolphins quarterback this season. His 282 passing yards easily was the most by a Miami quarterback this season surpassing Josh Rosen’s 200 in Week 3.
Ryan Fitzpatrick believes he's the right man to lead the winless Dolphins, because he's done it before with other rebuilding teams.https://t.co/QoWfvaPeQ7

Running back - Ty Johnson, Lions (29 rushing yards, 4 receptions, 28 receiving yards)
A sixth round pick by Detroit in April, Johnson’s 10 carries nearly equaled the 13 he accumulated going into Sunday and his four receptions were the same amount he caught in the first five games. CBS Sports believes that he needs to be picked up as he will continue to receive more playing time as starting running back Kerryon. Johnson left Sunday’s game with a knee injury.
Kerryon Johnson on a stationary bike behind the Lions bench with a brace on his right knee while Ty Johnson is in the game at running back. The brace is new. Might explain why Ty Johnson is getting more work today. Something to keep paying attention to. https://t.co/Mtzal9xOmI

Running back - C.J. Ham, Vikings (9 rushing yards, 1 reception, 5 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
It was the first career receiving touchdown from Ham on Sunday coming in his 38th NFL game. The fullback isn’t utilized much with the ball as Sunday was his first carry of the year.
is there a more fullback name in the NFL than CJ HAM

Wide receiver - Zach Pascal, Colts (6 receptions, 106 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns)
In what was probably the most unexpected breakout game of Week 7, Pascal entered Sunday with just seven catches for 133 yards. He nearly had that many receptions on Sunday and caught touchdown passes in both the first and third quarters.

Mostly utilized as a return man since beginning his career in 2016, Erickson was targeted 14 times in Week 7 and was targeted six more times in the previous week.
