As we do every week, let’s take a look at the Week 4 fantasy football stars who were likely unowned.
In order to be eligible for consideration, the player must have been owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues. One quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end will be included each week.
Quarterback - Marcus Mariota, Titans (227 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, 22 rushing yards)
In the previous two games, Mariota had thrown just one touchdown pass in his 67 attempts. This is his second game this season with three touchdown throws (also did so in Week 1) after he didn’t accomplish that once in 2018. According to USA Today, it’s the third time ever that he completed three touchdown passes in the first half.
NFL Quarterbacks who have started every game this season and not turned the ball over:

Marcus Mariota
Running back - Dontrell Hilliard, Browns (27 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 2 receptions, 27 receiving yards)
Entering Week 4, second-year back Hilliard had one career carry to his name. He received some garbage time in the Browns’ victory over the Ravens and scored his first career touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
Dontrell Hilliard ices the cake with a one-yard run at the 2:14 mark #Browns 40, #Ravens 18

Running back - Jaylen Samuels, Steelers (26 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 8 receptions, 57 receiving yards, 30 passing yards)
With the Steelers often utilizing the Wildcat formation on Monday night, Samuels easily received the most touches of his season and even completed three passes.
Said he was hoping for a touchdown pass, too RT @ESPNStatsInfo: Jaylen Samuels is the second player with 3 completions, 3 rushes and 3 catches in a game since the 1970 merger, joining Terrelle Pryor in 2016. pic.twitter.com/p17pmX8Pe9

Wide receiver - A.J. Brown, Titans (3 receptions, 94 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns)
While he hasn’t necessarily received a large volume in targets, Brown has now produced two very productive games out of four (had 100 yards receiving in Week 1). Drafted in the second round in 2019, Brown caught both of his first two career touchdowns in the first quarter.
Through four games the two Ole Miss WR targets in last spring’s NFL Draft, A.J. Brown and D.K. Medcalf both have 10 catches for exactly 223 yards. #Titans @NC5

Wide receiver - Diontae Johnson (6 receptions, 77 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
A third round pick in 2019, Johnson caught a touchdown pass for the second straight week. He has been receiving more playing time in the past couple weeks due to the early struggles of Donte Moncrief.
Top Week 5 Waiver Wire WRs:

1️⃣ Golden Tate (62% owned)
2️⃣ Robby Anderson (58%)
3️⃣ Geronimo Allison (31%)
4️⃣ Antonio Callaway (3%)
5️⃣ Diontae Johnson (15%)
Tight end - Ricky Seals-Jones, Browns (3 receptions, 82 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
When a team puts up 40 points like Cleveland did in Week 4, sometimes unexpected players make an impact as two Browns players make the list. Taking advantage of more playing time due to David Njoku placed on IR, Seals-Jones got the scoring going with a first quarter touchdown reception.
Ricky Seals-Jones should thank OBJ for drawing the attention allowing the TE to have himself a nice game. https://t.co/A85jV0X1xq
