After looking at each team’s projected starting backcourt and frontcourt, let’s move on to each team’s second unit.

As seen, some teams that can be considered contenders do not necessarily have productive benches. Expect to see movement on the trade front during the season to help them improve.

Depth charts from RotoWorld and ESPN were used as guidelines, but I projected the five-best players on each team’s bench. Players are listed in alphabetical order by last name.

1

Clippers - Mo Harkless / Montrezl Harrell / Rodney McGruder / Jerome Robinson / Lou Williams

Led the NBA in bench scoring last season and have the reigning (and three-time) Sixth Man of the Year winner Williams.

2

Nuggets - Malik Beasley / Jerami Grant / Monte Morris / Miles Plumlee / Michael Porter Jr.

After being selected 14th overall in 2018, can Porter Jr. make an impact after missing all of last season?
