Charles Manson only made one appearance in this film. He visits Roman Polanski and Sharon Tate's house looking for "Terry." Manson eventually sends four of his followers to the home to kill everyone inside including Tate and three of her friends. In Tarantino's version of history, Rick and Cliff manage to kill the Manson followers after they turn their attention towards them instead.
