On Wednesday, the Boston Celtics were eliminated from the postseason after being handed a 116-91 loss by the Milwaukee Bucks.

It was a disappointing end as Boston was taken out in five games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Prior to the season, many expected the Celtics to represent the East in the Finals.

Instead, they will prepare for a pivotal offseason. Here’s a look at the notable players who will be free agents (listed in alphabetical order by last name). Those with player options are included. The team’s free agent list was taken from Spotrac. Ages listed are how old they will be when next season begins.

1

Aron Baynes (C) - Player option for $5,323,440, Age: 32

Baynes started 18 games in the regular season after starting 67 in 2017-18. He finished this season with averages of 5.6 points and 4.7 rebounds. He may decide to opt out and look for a multi-year deal.

2

Al Horford (C) - Player option for $28,331,557, Age: 32

A five-time All-Star, Horford likely won't find a team to pay him more next season than what his player option calls for. In 68 games this season, he went on to average 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks per contest.

3

Kyrie Irving (PG) - Player option for $18,868,625, Age: 27

Many believe that Wednesday was Irving's last game with the Celtics. The six-time All-Star is coming off a season in which he averaged career-bests in assists (6.9) and rebounding (5.0). He shot close to 50 percent from the field and slightly over 40 percent from deep while averaging 23.8 points per game. Yahoo Sports reported that Las Vegas actually lists the Brooklyn Nets as the favorite to land him in the offseason.

4

Marcus Morris (PF) - Unrestricted, Age: 30

Morris was in the Celtics starting lineup 53 times in the regular season. He has been a consistent scorer averaging between 13.6 to 14.1 points in each of the last four seasons. This season, he connected on 37.5 percent of his threes while making nearly two an outing.

5

Terry Rozier (PG) - Restricted, Age: 25

If Irving walks, it may become more important for the Celtics to match any offer Rozier receives. In 79 games (14 starts), he went on to average nine points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.

6

Daniel Theis (C) - Restricted, Age: 27

Theis received inconsistent playing time, but altogether he nearly averaged 14 minutes in his 66 regular season appearances. He finished with per game averages of 5.7 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 54.9 percent from the field.
