Many people believe that Duke can win the ACC Tournament with Zion Williamson back on the court. However, betting on Duke might not be the best choice to make. Duke was seen as a no. 1 seed until Zion got hurt against North Carolina. There are five reasons why the Blue Devils probably won't claim the crown in Charlotte.

1

Duke Williamson still rusty

After Zion Williamson got hurt in the North Carolina game, Duke struggled to win their games, winning by only four points a game. Before Williamson was lost, they outscored teams by 20 points in the season.

2

Marques Bolden's injury

Even with Williamson back for limited minutes, they are still hindered by Marques Bolden's knee injury. Bolden has been ruled out for the ACC Tournament.

3

Duke struggles shooting from the perimeter

The Blue Devils shoot just 30.6 percent from beyond the arc, which ranks 334th in the country. Williamson's return should soften the blow, but if he's rusty it could still cause problems if teams like Virginia get on a hot streak.

4

Duke has a tough journey to the title

When you look at the ACC bracket, Duke has a difficult path to claiming the ACC crown. First they would face a tough battle with Syracuse and their strong 2-3 zone. If they manage to win against Syracuse, they meet up against the tough North Carolina Tar Heels.

5

Duke has struggled in the ACC Tournament over the years

While Duke has historically dominated the ACC Tournament, they have only won the crown once since 2012.
